This project was largely focussed on introducing me to two part moulding and casting. After selecting Star Wars as my franchise and designing my piece, I turned down and polished aluminium tubing on the lathe to create a master for casting. To make use of all equipment available to me, I decided to take this opportunity to also learn how to resin print intricate components to create the body of this bottle. Remaining time was spent brushing up on my spraying skills as well as my hand painting skills to create a product that looked appropriately weathered and worn for use on a Star Wars set.
