Hey There, I'm MaTISSE!
With a background in modelmaking, illustration, graphic design, ceramics and more, I proudly call myself an illustrative maker: someone who not only imagines compelling concepts and stories but also brings them to life with hands on craft!
In 2025, I graduated from Arts University Bournemouth with a First Class Honours in Ba (Hons) Modelmaking. Since then, I have relocated to Bristol where I now work as a Junior Prop Maker and Set Dresser at Aardman Animations.
From sunbathing pearls to dung beetles driving poop cars, I always keep my childlike imagination at the centre of everything I create. I specialise in creating lighthearted, character driven design that brings a smile to people's faces! Visual storytelling combined with tactile craft is what I do best! I bring these wacky characters to life through all sorts of mediums including illustration, clay sculpts, prop making, packaging design and much more! I can now confidently take on any role needed from concept artist to prop maker or even graphic designer.
